This rescued linen was first hand dyed with fiber reactive dyes. Fixed and washed. Then wax was hand painted on the fabric. Then the piece was hand dyed with natural indigo. Then special wash for wax removal and a thorough washing and fix bath. Finally it was blockprinted by with hand-carved stamp blocks of circles and tiny flowers, all original artwork.

Ink is heat set textile ink and therefore washable. Cold water gentle cycle or hand wash, with line dry suggested. Iron will be needed, but the linen is on the soft side.

*Reactive dye and Ink colors are UV light safe. Natural indigo will fade in direct sunlight, however will always be blue.
