30-60% WOF to dye a light to medium depth of shade

Botanical Name: Butea Monosperma is a species of Butea native to tropical part of the India Subcontinent and SouthEast Asia, ranging across India, Bangladesh, Nepal. It is commonly known as flame-of-the forest, bastard teak and Palash. It is used for timber, resin, fodder, medicine and dyes. The flowers are used to prepare a traditional Holi colour and also used as dye for fabric.

In India dried leaves of Palash are used to make disposable leaf plates and leaf bowls to serve food, but both the flowers and leaves are used in Indian traditional medicine.
