Turmeric is bright bright yellow that does fade with time, but is helped by prepping fiber with mordant. You can use in a dye bath oror sprinkled onto your bundle dyed pieces.
With a tiny bit of iron it can lean towards green. Alkaline will turn it orange.

This herb is of bright yellow because it contains the “ Curcuminoids Curcumin, Demethoxycurcumin and Bisdemethoxycurcumin”. Curcumin is a diphenolic compound that exerts anti-inflammatory action.
