The husks (sepal/calyx) of the Hibiscus sabdariffa flower will give you lovely pinks. With an acid the tone will go blue/purple. A little iron will turn the color grey/blue.
Make sure to never let your reds boil, as the oxidation will turn your color brown.
We love to use in bundle dyeing. Crush into little pieces to maximize your color potential.
