Soda Ash // Calcium Carbonate

I use soda ash as my alkaline in pre reduced indigo vats, to fix my fiber reactive dyes, and when scouring fibers with synthrapol.

Used in creating Indigo Vats. Use 2-4 parts depending of water used. Your pH should be 9-10 for proper balance.

Soda Ash dye fixer is a mild alkali that promotes the chemical reaction between Procion MX fiber reactive dyes and cellulose fiber. It is also known as sodium carbonate, washing soda or salt soda. Soda Ash is necessary to activate and set Procion MX dye.

Use as a color modifier with some natural dyes too!
