This rescued linen was first hand-stitch for hours, pulled tightly and dyed in all natural indigo. Then wax was hand painted on the fabric after a wash and dry. Then the piece was hand dyed with golden reactive dye using a low immersion method using the least amount of water. Then special wash for wax removal and a thorough washing and fix bath. Finally it was blockprinted by with hand-carved stamp blocks of polka dots and small crosses, all original artwork.
