Not scheduled as often. Try "Working with Resists!"
Not just for tie-dye! Fiber reactive dyes are amazing because they bond with your fabric to create saturated, light fast, long lasting color. And not only that, you can use them in soooo many fun ways. Take this class and learn all the tricks!
We'll experiment with Mottled color, Shibori with lots of color, and how to thicken and use dye in painting, screenprinting, and blockprinting.
You're welcome to bring fabric, smaller articles, or clothing that you would like to dye. Sample materials will be provided to play around with, so you don't necessarily need to bring anything. But it can certainly be fun to liven up what you have laying around, or stained! It must be cellulose fiber, ie cotton, hemo, linen.
Make sure all fabrics and pieces are properly washed. Wash with pH balanced soaps in washer, or ideally, you should simmer pieces in stainless steel or ceramic pot, with "synthrapol" and soap ash.
