The kit comes with a digital copy of instructions (check your spam folder after order), but check out this blog post to become more familiar with the natural dyeing process. It is always recommended to mordant your fibers before dyeing with natural dyes, but those in the list below marked with a star (*) are substantive and it is not necessary. Though all the colors will be more vibrant and lightfast when you take the extra time to prepare your fibers however. Alum here. Calcium Acetate here.
